Room-cleaning.

For a person like me, room/table cleaning is not something that happens regularly aside from the alternate day floor-vaccuuming, so when it does happen, it’s kinda a big deal.

It also always tends to happen on days before there are way more important things to deal with. I can never seem to get down to it during a school break or a long weekend, it always has to come midnight before the monday that is the start of a week that contains an endodontics test, an epidemiology test, an entire day of patients on wednesday and other little things like that y’know.

On a way better note, IT’S THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL BEFORE ANOTHER HONG-KONG-BECKONING-BREAK.

How nice. (:

Sometimes dreams come true and we turn them down, and we realise that after the whole thing, we come out okay. beyond blessed.

Sure there are about a million things that are not perfect, but right now, I feel like just about the luckiest girl ever.

Yesterday, the family and I watched the brother play what will likely be his last match in national colours. After years of having trunks hanging in our room and of late sending to and from the pool, it was an interesting experience to sit in the stands and watch. I am most definitely glad that the match went the way it did. Congrats bro and co. (:

I am also blessed to have patients who inspire me time and time again. Sometimes I am no longer if I am even sure that inspire is the right word to use. To some extent, they even renew my faith in humanity I guess.

It is amazing to come into contact with such people because it is so easy to become spiteful and pessimistic about life. These people remind me of the goodness and generosity that human beings are capable of. It’s amazing. I am glad that though I have to spend more time than I like with Torabinejad and co, I have been given the opportunity to do what I am doing.
